The Rainbow Friends of Dharma Mountain are delighted to announce that our next Queer Retreat will take place from 22 to 29 September 2026!
This retreat is intended for members of the LGBTQIA+* community. If you identify as part of this community, and/or if these letters resonate with you in a personal and heartfelt way, you are warmly welcome to join us for these days of shared practice.
This year, the retreat will be guided by monastics from Plum Village, including Brother Pháp Lý, the longest-ordained French monk in the Plum Village tradition. They will be joined by experienced lay practitioners—including a Dharma Teacher and a member of the Order of Interbeing—who are also members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

During these days together, we will co-create a space for mindfulness practice rooted in inclusivity, kindness, and mutual care, where we can share our questions, our challenges, and our joys, while simply enjoying the precious experience of being together. Supported by our practice, we will cultivate and deepen our understanding and compassion—for ourselves, for all beings, and for our beautiful planet Earth.
The natural surroundings of Dharma Mountain will welcome you with their beauty and simplicity. The retreat site is rustic and includes steep slopes and woodland paths, so participants should be comfortable walking on uneven natural terrain.
If you can, please bring along your musical instruments, songs, poems, or any other creative offerings you would like to share with the community!

Standard rate: €420 + €12 membership fee for the Cévenn'Zen association
Solidarity Rate: €290 + €12 membership fee for the Cévenn'Zen association - Maximum 4 places for this retreat
Support Rate: €510 + €12 membership fee for the Cévenn'Zen association

Number of participants: 25 max.

Arrival/departure date and time: Arrival on September 22 before 6pm and departure on September 29 after breakfast.

What to bring: walking shoes, flashlight, alarm clock (not a phone), tent and sleeping bag for camping.
